Working with a turbo builder in Alabama Z1 specified the components for these turbos close to 2 years ago now. Because of lack of dependability and sometimes questionable build quality, Z1 sought out and found another turbo builder. We found what we were looking for a turbo builder whos build quality, equipment, and work ethic is second to none! We use the highest quality materials and the best builder, to produce what we strongly feel is the best turbo line-p for the Z32. Its not the cheapest nor the most expensive line but we know the quality and performance is second to none. GMS picked up where we left off with the turbo builder we were dealing with in Alabama. Despite our agreements with this builder, he freely started supplying our Designs to GMS. This builder built the turbo for considerably less than our current builder, but it was reflected in his machining practices, attention to detail, and dependability. So GMS was basicially selling a line of turbos that we had developed most of, for less than we were paying to have them done. Some of which we had decided to no longer carry due to their lack-luster performance. GMS started selling some turbos through AMZ, they were on the AMZ site for a period of time. AMZ copied some of the GMS designs (which Chip was apparently not happy about) which were ultimately copies of our designs. The AMZ stage 2 being one of them, equating to our GT525R. What a mess! Regardless our GT525R is less expensive than its AMZ counterpart and it comes with new oil feed lines and all the gaskets! I question AMZ's turbo building program considering its infancy. We've been doing this for a long time and have learned ou lessons over the years. We have a builder that I think could easily be the best out there. I have no idea who is doing theirs.
